Shearing management software for contractors in New Zealand and Australia.
Most contractors still retype every tally book page by hand. ShearOps removes that step without
removing the book: your crew keeps tallying on paper, you photograph the page, and ShearOps reads
the names, runs and counts on every line into digital tallies. Anything it isn't sure about is
flagged for a quick check before you approve it, so nothing is guessed. Approved tallies become a
Xero invoice in one click, and flow into timesheets and pay runs.
Crews tally offline. Sheds with no coverage still work, and everything syncs once you're back in
signal. Scanning a page needs a connection, so that usually happens back in coverage or on wifi.

Who builds it
Co-founder Luke Hillis is a shearing contractor who runs gangs. He built ShearOps to stop spending
his nights retyping tally books and chasing paperwork.
Pricing
Priced by the gangs you run, not per worker. Every plan gets every feature. Up to 3 gangs is 3,900
a year or 390 a month. Up to 6 gangs is 4,900 a year or 490 a month. More than 6 gangs, get in
touch. Annual plans get the season for the price of ten months. Prices in NZD, excluding GST.
